The Marposs M110 is an automatic gauging machine developed to provide a complete solution to measure a wide range of shafts, in particular crankshafts, camshafts and transmission shafts.

DESCRIPTION

M110 is an automatic gauging machine that can be used to perform dimensional, geometric and non-destructive (ND) measurements on crankshafts and transmission shafts in final or inter-operational phases.

Perfectly able to check and certify 100% of the production of crankshafts directly in the workshop environment.

The modular structure, consisting of state of the art technological mechanics, ensures an extremely versatile system, rendering the gauging machine able to load, measure and classify crank shafts, in a complete automatic cycle.

The cycle time is extremely quick, due to the high speed achieved by optimising the stiffness of all the critical mechanics used for the loading and transfer for the measurement.

The M110 automatic gauging machine consists of:

  • Automatic load system
  • Automatic measurement system
  • Motor-driven shaft reference system
  • Automatic load systems to move the part quickly and precisely  into the measuring position:
    • loading arms; by means of automation, the  crankshaft is positioned horizontally on two overhanging arms that perform a circular movement and place it  into measuring position.
    • shuttle; the  crankshaft is placed on a horizontal transfer system that moves the part  into measuring position.
    • elevator unit; the  crankshaft is  raised into measuring position.
       
  • Automatic gauge system
    the automatic gauge system  is moved to the part by means of a precision vertical slide. It is  adapted with the most essential different types of Marposs measuring cells,  depending on the measurement checks requested.    
  • Motor-driven shaft reference system
    the shaft can be picked up between  centers, fixed or motor-driven, or placed on Vee-rollers.
    State of the art technology allows for controlled rotation of the shaft during the measurement process.

 

This equipment is used with an industrial PC E9066T and GagePod system and/or E70s electronic units
