EXCELLENT PRECISION MEASUREMENT
Thanks to the latest generation of contact and optical sensors, M110 is able to perform precise, reliable micrometric measurements; even in production line operating conditions, with high operating temperatures and mechanical stresses.
M110 Flex and Optoflex are designed to guarantee maximum productivity on the line. The double part loading system in infeed, simultaneous action measuring probes, and instant measurement of the part temperature proves how efficient the M110 Flex and Optoflex really are. The architecture of M110 Flex and Optoflex is designed to support high production line levels and extremely short measuring cycles.
These solutions can be configured with multiple contact sensors: contact probes to measure diameters in addition to distances along the part axis, contact sensors for eccentric parts (connecting rod pins), and optical sensors in the Optoflex version. Thanks to the different measuring options, the M110 Flex and Optoflex allow users to select the most suitable measuring method for the requested application.
DESIGNED FOR PRODUCTION LINES
The measuring layout with horizontal part and the double loading system, allow the M110 to be efficiently integrated with the most common high-volume shaft production lines; where the parts are usually transported horizontally on conveyors for the transfer between the various machining phases.
M110 Flex and M110 Optoflex are reference solutions in applications for checking parts during the machining phases. These systems are able to measure, with an extremely high level of precision and reliability, shafts like crankshafts and camshafts directly in the production line; during critical operating conditions, due to high operating temperatures and vibrations. Thanks to the instantaneous contact thermal probes, M110 is able to automatically measure the temperature of the parts in outfeed from the different machining phases. During the loading phase, the thermal probes automatically measure the instantaneous temperature of the part and the dimensional measurement is compensated as required.
Like the contact probes for measurements in two dimensions along the part axis, M110 can be fitted with special dynamic tracking probes to measure eccentric sections such as connecting rod pins in crankshafts.
Due to the two measuring probes, M110 is able to perform extremely complex measurements, such as roundness of pins or cylindricity, with its customary category leading level of precision, and reliability.
