The ideal partner for grinding systems, Unimar S boasts levels of accuracy that make it suitable for use in applications typical of the injection systems industry, where the tolerances needed are measured in microns. Unimar S is able to achieve high standards of precision due to its excellent performance in terms of linearity, repeatability and thermal stability thus guaranteeing maximum reliability at all times. It is suitable for use on smooth and interrupted surfaces.
The Unimar gauge version with a special mechanical solution able to guarantee contact retraction of up to 14 mm. Ideal for applications such as for measuring cams, and for bearing grooves.
In addition to the standard models, there are many special models developed for particular applications. These special solutions include the possibility of having heads made of completely non-magnetic material.
The Unimar gauge version equipped with a special transducer, is able to control the movement of its measurement range within a maximum range of 12.5mm
If two Unimar W heads are used as a pair, they can measure internal diameters within a 1” (25.4 mm) range without the need for any mechanical adjustments. This version represents the ideal solution for processes requiring the maximum in flexibility, during which the type of parts being machined changes constantly.
These special, dedicated heads are used when positioning the part in the machine. The rear of the head is fitted with a special set-up system that can be used to regulate the machine over-travel with a high degree of accuracy. These heads may be used both for active positioning (part brought into a predetermined position in the machine, by moving the part itself or the gauge), and passive positioning (measurement of the generic position of a part in the machine).
Similar to the Unimar P model, these special, dedicated heads are used when positioning the part in the machine. They are characterised by their large measurement ranges.
The Unimar gauge version developed to meet application requirements that call for absolute measurement rather than multi-comparison. The measurement ranges reach 12.5 mm at the contact position (25 mm on the diameter). By taking an absolute measurement, it does not need a reference master for each diameter measured.
