The E32U interface, which is compatible with all Marposs probes for hard-wired applications, processes the signal received from the probe and transmits it directly to the machine tool CNC.

DESCRIPTION

The E32U interface unit converts signals generated by the touch probe so that they can be processed by the machine tool CNC.

There is a terminal block on the front panel of the unit for I/O connections, as well as three LEDs that indicate when the unit is connected to its power supply and the state of the probe and the interface.

The LEDs provide the following information:

  • GREEN LED: indicates the probe power supply status
  • YELLOW LED: flashes in the event of a touch
  • RED LED: indicates an interface malfunction state

The 5 switches on the top of the unit provide any easy way of setting up the system operating mode.
