Eddy Current Probes to Check Surface Faults and Material Properties

NDT PROBES

Marposs's  eddy current probes, have been developed to satisfy every application needs to detect  surface-open cracks, small porosities as well as to verify the correctness of heat treatment on any conductive material (steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, copper, etc.). In addition to NDT eddy current probes, to check material integrity and properties, a family of eddy current sensor has been developed to check, by means of Marposs E70T, the presence/absence of thread.

BENEFITS

With more than 350 eddy current probes in portfolio, every specific inspection problem can be solved and in case of needs, a customized probe can be realized to solve special application requirements. All probes are designed, prototyped and produced by Marposs.

Each probe can be connected to Marposs NDT electronics E59N, E70S or E70T.

DESCRIPTION

Every probe is realized in non-magnetic steel or high performance plastic with an embedded winding realized on ferrite core with the aim to focus magnetic field lines on specific areas of the inspected target.

The shape of the ferrite core is chosen, among many available, in order to optimize probes performances having sizes varing from 1 to 12 mm.

All probes can be connected either to Marposs E59N or E70S.
