MARPOSS ACQUIRES TRACE
THE TRACE COMPANY LEADER IN AUTOMATIC LEAK TEST MACHINES NOW IS A PART OF MARPOSS GROUP
Marposs announces that, through its controlled company MG SpA (Brescia, Italy), has acquired complete ownership of Trace (Paris, France).
Trace was founded in 1984; it specializes in design and manufacturing of automatic leak test machines.
Its product range includes:
- leak test detectors
- flowmeters
- computerized test benches
- leak test machines
- helium testing technology
Main markets for the product are the automotive and aerospace industries where over 350 applications are operating, many of them for many years.
MG SpA was founded in 1954; it is a leading company in the metrology field and provides also a substantial range of leak test and functional equipment.
Since 2000 it is part of the Marposs Group and delivers its equipment all over the world through the Marposs network of worldwide companies.
The Trace product line is an ideal complement to the MG products and enhances the MG manufacturing capacity in a field that Marposs sees in constant expansion and growth.
As the MG product range, also the Trace lines will greatly benefit from the Marposs worldwide sales and service organization.
