KICK-OFF MEETING OF THE EUROPEAN FUNDED PROJECT SeConRob
MARPOSS IS PART OF THIS PROJECT THAT WILL LAST FOR THREE YEARS
The Kick-off Meeting for SeConRob, a European-funded project, took place at PROFACTOR GmbH on October 10th to 11th, 2023.
Marposs will be part of this project which is dedicated to the creation of Self-configuring Multi-Step Robotic Workflows, with practical demonstrations at SafeMetal (FRA) and OttoFuchs (GER). The industrial support for the project includes sensor development tailored to the unique requirements of the use cases by ACS (GER) and Marposs (ITA).
Research contributions from ECL (FRA) and Fraunhofer (GER) will focus on polishing processes and AI methods to enhance manufacturing procedures. PROFACTOR (AUT) will not only lead and coordinate this three-year project but will also develop reinforcement learning for process improvement and evaluate inspection methods for both use cases.
