Aerospace Quality Technician - Marposs France

 

The Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting and certifying product compliance in accordance with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and internal procedures.

Required Qualifications

Applications will be considered from candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Knowledge and application of quality standards, materials and treatments for mechanical components, and industrial processes used in the production of aerospace tooling.

  • Ability to read technical drawings, including ISO dimensions, inch-based measurements, and geometric and dimensional tolerances

  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

  • Good command of both French and English.

  • At least 5 years of experience in similar quality control roles within an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Technical diploma with relevant industry experience, or a degree in Engineering.

  • Accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work in compliance with procedures, quality standards, and deadlines.

  • Ability to independently analyze technical specifications, customer requirements, and compliance documentation.

  • Strong aptitude for identifying non-conformities and proposing corrective and continuous improvement actions.

  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • Availability for frequent business travel to France and day trips to suppliers in Emilia-Romagna and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

Product Compliance

  • Analyzing customer technical specifications, reviewing applicable standards and requirements, and verifying the completion of all project-related activities (material certificates, treatments, load tests, leak tests, markings, etc.).

  • Providing technical support to suppliers in the interpretation of drawings, standards, and manufacturing requirements to ensure finished product compliance.

  • Preparing and maintaining technical dossiers by collecting and reviewing compliance documentation (where possible using dedicated tools such as SharePoint).

  • Identifying non-conformities and contributing to root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Reviewing supplier documentation and obtaining Quality Department approval from France prior to material delivery; ensuring all required documents are available and that packaging complies with shipping requirements.

Contribution to the Quality Policy

  • Participating in non-conformity management and improvement projects arising from corrective action implementation.

  • Conducting internal and external audits at suppliers' premises and within Group companies.

  • Updating quality performance indicators by monitoring suppliers' OTD (On-Time Delivery), OQD (On-Quality Delivery), and FPY (First Pass Yield).

Compensation and Benefits

The candidate will be hired in accordance with salary transparency regulations (italian Law D.Lgs. 96/2026) and based on their actual experience in the field, with a total annual compensation ranging between €30,000 to €32,500

In addition, the company offers:

  • Remote working option of 1 day per week.

  • Flexible working hours (start between 8:15 and 9:15 a.m.; finish between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.; Fridays between 4:45 and 5:45 p.m.).
