Within the range of measurement devices developed by Marposs, non‑contact gauges based on optical technologies are becoming increasingly important. In this area, Marposs develops and manufactures innovative optical solutions to effectively meet the growing demands of highly demanding markets such as the semiconductor and electric mobility sectors.

The selected candidate will actively contribute to the design of optical systems, the verification of the performance achievable with the designed system, and the development of new non‑contact measurement techniques.

This position is intended for graduates in scientific disciplines, preferably Physics or Astronomy, who wish to actively join a collaborative work environment.

The knowledge typically acquired in a Physics degree program is required. The following qualifications are considered a plus:

• Knowledge of geometric optical design principles
• Knowledge of wave optics principles
• Familiarity with optical simulation software (Zemax OpticStudio)
• Practical skills and hands‑on aptitude
• Prior experience in a similar role within other companies
