Responsibilities
Helium Technology, a company within the Marposs Group, operates in the field of industrial automation related to non‑destructive testing. The company is experiencing continuous growth and stands out for its innovation, quality, and strong customer focus. Helium Technology is looking for an Information Technology Specialist with prior experience.
The selected candidate will be coordinated by the IT Department of Marposs Headquarters and will work full time providing user support (Service Desk) and, on an occasional basis, infrastructure support (IT Operations) at the Milan offices and surrounding areas.
Service Desk activities include the procurement, setup, distribution, and support of all standard corporate IT tools, both hardware and software (e.g. PC fleet, phones and printers, Office applications, email, utilities, etc.). The role involves acting as the primary point of contact and first‑level interface for users for any request or issue related to general IT services, resolving the most common problems or appropriately qualifying, analyzing, and escalating requests to central specialist teams.
IT Operations activities related to networking, servers, storage, backup, and virtualization consist of providing non‑specialized local support to personnel from the headquarters.
Profile
Candidates with the following requirements will be considered:
- General knowledge of computers, networks, and the main local and cloud-based software or applications, within a complex and international environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide effective support for common technical issues encountered by users of IT systems across all business areas
- Aptitude for the hands-on management of IT equipment and inventory, including procurement, orders, licenses, and user authorizations
- Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is preferred and useful within the Group context
- Basic ITIL Foundation certification is preferred
