3D SHAPE INSPECTOR

THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPES INSPECTION SOFTWARE

3D SHAPE INSPECTOR

Marposs Mida 3D shape inspection software offers significant advantages in the measurement and inspection of sculptured parts directly in the machine.

MAIN ADVANTAGES
  • Possibility of reworking the part without having to remove it from the machine, take it to the metrology room then, after measurement, place it in the machine again.
  • This saves time and money, since a measuring machine is not required.
This software is easy to program and use.

Measuring cycle programming is simple even for very complex geometries, thanks to the possibility of selecting the measuring points using the mouse.

Possibility of evaluating measurements taken graphically on the computer screen or creating a measurement report in various formats (DOC, PDF, HTML, ASCII, etc.).

Available for all major numeric controls.

Possibility of importing part data from various formats: IGES, DXF, VDA, STL, PARASOLID.
An extremely high level of measuring precision is achieved using Marposs Mida probes.

Calibration cycle programming is made easy, without having to know the precise position of the qualification ball, allowing an automatic search for its position.

A strong point of the Marposs Mida 3D shape inspection software is its easy programming, which may be:
  • By points, simply using the mouse to indicate the points to be measured
  • By points, using automatic arrangement on a grid or on curves
  • Measurement of geometric bodies which can be selected from a graphic programming window.
