Aeroel laser benches are available in various model and size with single or dual axis measurement. A wide range of accessories and fixtures are available to allow the measurement of a wide range of pieces and products, with different shape and size, such as:
- Mechanical components like small shafts, parts machined by lathes or grinders, rubber rolls, hard metal tools and blanks, etc
- Wires and cables like drawn wire, ferrous and non ferrous, electric cable enameled wire
- Extruded products like plastic tubes, rods
- Transparent products like optical fibers, medical tube, glass tubes, etc.
- Die hole
The various systems can measure diameter and ovality, run out, edge position, gap between parts, taper, throats and peaks, cutting diameter, etc.
The benchtop systems allow measurable diameters range from 0,02 mm up to 78 mm, with a resolution up to 0.1 µm
They check tolerances by comparing the actual dimensions to the programmed limits. Depending on the model, measurement reports are printed out and simple and effective statistics are performed on measured data.
