FRANCESCO POSSATI IS THE NEW PRESIDENT OF MARPOSS GROUP

Marposs announces the appointment of Francesco Possati as President of the Group. Francesco succeeds his father, Cavaliere del Lavoro Stefano Possati, who led the company since 1990 alongside his brothers Edoardo and Alberto, guiding Marposs to become an international benchmark in 34 countries worldwide. Stefano Possati will henceforce assume the role of President Emeritus.

This appointment marks the transition to the third generation of the Possati family, continuing the legacy of the company founded in 1952 by Mario Possati and reaffirming a family-driven entrepreneurial model built on continuity, technical excellence, and innovation.

Francesco Possati joined Marposs in 2013 at the Group’s Chinese headquarters in Nanjing, focusing on production process optimization. Since returning to Bentivoglio in 2015, he has held roles of increasing responsibility in Human Resources, Product Management, and as Head of the Manual Gauging Division. He currently serves as Group Vice President and General Manager of the Bentivoglio HQ.
