Service Desk Operator
Responsibilities
The candidate will be placed in the IT department of the MARPOSS Information Systems Division, in the Service Desk team.
As a Service Desk operator, he/she will be responsible for the procurement, configuration, distribution and support of all corporate IT tools and general purpose hardware and software (for example, PC fleet, phones, printers, MS Office, email, utilities, etc.).
Daily support activity is done by Service Desk while acting as the main contact and first interface for any type of request related to general IT services, as well as solving the most common issues or routing them to second level teams of specialists, after a thorough qualification and analysis.
Profile
Candidates who demonstrate a general knowledge of IT and commonly used local and cloud application software will be positively evaluated.
Additional requirements:
- Good ability to relate to users, understanding and support common technical issues of IT systems in every business area;
- Precision and skills in managing IT inventory, assets, orders, licenses and permissions;
- Good knowledge of English, written and spoken (essential for the international context);
- An ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
