EU Project “TARGET-X” Successfully Completed

Marposs is proud to have contributed to TARGET-X, the EU-funded research project led by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT. 
The initiative accelerated the adoption of 5G mobile technologies across the automotive, construction, energy, and manufacturing sectors, while laying crucial groundwork for the upcoming 6G era.

By combining proven 5G capabilities with emerging 6G concepts such as real-time TSN communication, localization, digital twins, and millimeter-wave applications, TARGET-X has provided essential insights for the next generation of smart, connected manufacturing.

During the final event in Aachen, project partners showcased live demonstrations of the developed solutions, highlighting the transformative potential of 5G and 6G for Europe’s industrial landscape.
