The MIDA line of high performance touch probes for machine tools provide precise, high quality metrological characteristics for presetting tool applications on machining centres and milling machines.
MIDA probes guarantee high repeatability (2sigma < 1 µm) and very low sensitivity to working vibrations and machine axis acceleration. They can be used to perform the following tool controls:
- Integrity
- Length and diameter measurements
- Wear correction
- T18 - a compact touch probe for tool control applications on NC lathes and machining centres. The probe may be connected to the machine tool CNC by a cable via the E32R Interface unit.
- TS30 - compact probes with integrated interface for tools presetting on machine centre tables - hardwired version.
- OTS30 - compact probes with integrated interface for rotating tools presetting on machine centre tables - optical signal transmission version.
- WRTS - compact probes with integrated interface for rotating tools presetting on machine centre tables - radio signal transmission version.
