Available versions
MIDA probes for tool checking are available in two styles:

  • T18 is a compact touch probe for tool setting applications on NC lathes and machining centers. All probes can be hard wired to the machine tool CNC by using the E32R Interface unit for applications that does not require wireless touch signal transmission.
    It can be used for:
    • tool breakage detection
    • tool offset determination
    • tool wear compensation
  • TS30 Tool Setter is a range of compact application for tool setting during rotation on machining center's table with integrated interface. It is available with both hard-wired (TS30) and optical (OTS30) transmission. It can be used for the following controls:
    • tool breakage detection
    • tool offset determination
    • tool wear compensation
