Product Specialist / Application Engineer (m/f/d) in Field Service - Business Unit MTS / Headquarters Weinstadt

What you can expect

• Independent performance of tests, integrations and commissioning on machine tools (hardware, software and NC programmes)
• Testing and validation of new developments, functions and applications
• Technical analysis of customer requirements and conducting product demonstrations
• Supporting customer service with commissioning, customer training and quality monitoring
• Creating, maintaining and coordinating customer-specific documentation, operating instructions and internal documents
• Maintaining article and master data in our ERP system
• Creating and updating data sheets, brochures and technical documentation
• Technical and commercial preparation of quotations as well as order clarification and processing
• Implementation of sales promotion measures such as trade fairs, sales training, product presentations and demonstrations – including the creation of all necessary technical and commercial documents
• Support in competitive analyses and the development of marketing strategies
• Preparation of price lists and sales-related documents
• Close cooperation with the sales team and support in day-to-day business
• Technical clarification with the production and development centre in Italy
• Customer advice and technical support by telephone
• Introduction of new products to customers and support throughout the entire introduction process
• What you bring
• Completed training as an industrial electronics technician or industrial mechatronics technician, ideally supplemented by further training as a technician or master craftsman
• Professional experience in the field of machine tools or machining, preferably as a setter or commissioning engineer
• In-depth CNC knowledge and experience in dealing with applications and technical systems
• Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
• Strong analytical thinking skills, high level of initiative and strong team spirit
• Confident, competent manner and a high degree of customer focus
• Willingness to travel extensively within Germany and a Class B driving licence
• Ideally based in the greater Stuttgart area

What you bring with you
