DUO

Duo is an extremely compact and powerful, 4.3’’ touch screen unit for display and storage of measuring data acquired through one or two sensors. Designed to satisfy the needs of our customers, it is the “something in-between” display unit that guarantees premium features at an affordable price being as small as a smartphone.
It’s the best choice for simple manual applications allowing up to two measurements to be simultaneously displayed. The Duo is your non-compromise solution when only few measurements on the shop floor are needed at any given time.

  DUO™ first setup, basic settings and functions - Video tutorial /2   

     When turning on DUO™ for the first time, the default language is English and the default user is Administrator. This video shows how to set the system's preferred language, the default user for future operations, the current user for regular use, and how to change the Administrator password.

Other important functions described are software updating and backup/restore of the programmed data, including settings, part programs and master sets.

 

DUO™ acquisition modes - settings and programming - Video tutorial /3

DUO™ features three different acquisition modes, to meet any application requirement. They are Free Running, Step and Autoswitch mode. This video shows how to program the system and acquire the measurements for each mode.

   DUO™ measurement data transmission modes - PART 1: RS232

DUO™ features different protocols to meet any application requirement for measurement data serial transmission. Two protocols comply with E4N column display units for the trouble-free retrofitting of existing applications. One allows Duo™ to operate as a serial keyboard (Duo Serial Keyboard Emulation).

This video shows how to program the system and obtain the measurements transmitted to the host computer for each of them.
