The main characteristic of these gauges is the fact that the result of the measurement is not a numerical value but a “good/scrap” status.

Three companies of MARPOSS group (MG, TRACE and HETECH) produce leak testing equipment.

The leak tests and functional checks are an integral part of a production process and serve to guarantee the quality of the produced part as far as non-dimensional parameters are concerned.

They are used to guarantee the tightness of coupled parts and the absence of porosity (leak tests), or the existence of some specific characteristics in the values defined on project, such as torque, torsion, etc.

The SPECIAL APPLICATIONS DIVISION offers solutions for the non destructive (ND) test of parts made of ferrous and nonferrous material, provided it is a conductor of electricity, based on the eddy currents method. The presence of faults in the material, the correctness of the thermal treatment, and more, are automatically checked on 100% of the production.

By integrating the ND tests with the dimensional ones, it is guaranteed not only that the parts are in tolerance, but also that they do not have structural faults such to compromise their reliability.

Moreover the electronic units are supplied, equipped with the suitable sensors, so that the end customer is able to integrate the ND tests on production lines.

MARPOSS supplies modular industrial computers (embedded computers, panel PC and workstations), data acquisition systems and application software with open connectivity to standard and industrial networks alike.

The wide selection of application programs can be integrated into department and plant-wide Process and Quality Control systems, and run directly on gauging stations (industrial computers) and on networked PC workstations (from the office) as well.
