M2016

FLEXIBLE MACHINE FOR INSPECTION OF SHAFTS

The M2016 system has been designed for:

• Inspection of rotating parts loaded with horizontal axis (e.g. families of shafts)
• Use in demanding shop-floor environments immediately after a machining operation thanks to its low sensitivity to dirt and to part surface roughness

The two bi-directional measuring heads provide gauging flexibility at operating rates significantly faster than possible with other devices available in the market today.

Reliable and accurate, it can statically or dynamically perform many types of dimensional and geometric checks, including:

• Diameters
• Distances
• Concentricity
• Ovality
• Barrel shape
• Taper
• Straightness
• Parallelism
• Radial runout
• Axial runout

Marposs Quick SPC™ software allows for an on-line variable data analysis. The use of the Flex Add-On software lets the operator easily program a new part type.Its feedback capabilities make the M2016 an integral part of the production system.

This equipment is used along with an industrial PC E9066N Flat Panel .
