Responsibilities:
- Design electrical gauging applications for industrial purposes
- Design may include hardware and/or software components for either instrumentation or control systems
- Define bill of materials
- Develop electrical timing diagrams
- Develop application software
- Perform internal & customer design reviews
- Update documentation as required and file documentation per quality procedures
- Specialization within a certain product line is to be expected
- Occasionally may support Sales, Proposal, Order Processing, Final Check, Repair, Service and Training Departments
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Able to read & understand engineering drawings
- Able to understand geometric dimensioning and tolerances
- AutoCAD experience for hardware designs
- Have a general understanding of electrical concepts.
- Experience with GM, Ford, Chrysler specifications desirable
- Computer literate & willing to learn how to program gauging applications
