Position:

Quality Assurance Coordinator

Location: Auburn Hills, MI - United States

Experience:

Responsibilities:

  • Internal Quality and Environmental auditing as well as guide for External auditors
  • Responsible for all quality and environmental documentation
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance to all existing relevant quality and environmental standards
  • Monitoring and communicating new compliance requirements of: Industry, Customers, Government agencies, Company organizations globally, and ISO/IATF
  • Managing Supplier Quality and quality control equipment to ensure that all equipment meets all necessary conformities and calibration standards
  • Ability to interpret technical information, drawings, in mathematical or diagram form and define problems collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of auditing principles
  • Working knowledge and experience with Quality tools such as: FMEA, SPC, Design of experiments, 5 phase and 8D methodology
  • Associate's degree with a major in an Industrial discipline
  • Additional courses showing knowledge of quality, processes gage control and electronic controls of gauges preferred
  • Previous experience with Gauging and Measurement machines preferred
  • Two years + experience in industry with a background in quality assurance
  • Experience in maintaining quality systems accepted as industry standards
  • Auditing experience is required
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of machining, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and automotive drivetrains
  • Experience with customer interface and understanding of OEM Quality procedures
  • Knowledge of quality tools and disciplines, QOS, MSA, AQPQ and R&M are essential
