Position:
Buyer
Location: Auburn Hills, MI - United States
Experience: 1-3 years experience
This individual will purchase commercial components, negotiate with vendors and prepare freight documents.
Responsibilities:
- Request quotes
- Issue purchase orders
- Verify orders for correctness
- Prepare commercial invoices and export documents (freight forwarder document)
- Interact with vendors and suppliers
- Receptionist duties: Answer main telephone number and front door for visitors
- Prepare various reports
- Maintain the vehicle fleet database
- Distribute fleet insurance certificates and prepare related reports
- Schedule apartment and car rentals
- Assist with physical inventory control
- Facility management
- Data Entry
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years purchasing experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Microsoft Office experience, Excel a plus
- Must be able to work independently and possesses strong interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skill
- Excellent communication and written skills
