Responsibilities
- Cost estimating
- Complies lists of equipment required and relative costs
- Contacts vendors and suppliers to estimate costs of their services or products
- Maintains a close contact with prospective customers to fully understand engineering and system requirements.
- Communicates effectively
- Prepares proposals and presents approvals
- Clarifies and prepares orders for the Processing Department
Profile
- Requires a 2 or 4 year degree in engineering
- Previous gauging experience preferred
- Proficient with Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office and Autocad
