QUICK SET™ CHUCK
MULTIDIMENSIONAL MODULAR SYSTEM RETOOLABLE FOR CYLINDRICAL PARTS LOCATED ON A FLAT REFERENCE SURFACE
The Quick Set Chuck Fixture incorporates a serrated referencing surface and standard Quick Set components to perform multi-dimensional and geometric external measurements on parts that can not be referenced horizontally with vees or held between centers, such as bushings, bearings, pistons and cylindrical type parts that are manufactured with a flange.
The narrow 12 mm (.47") width of each Quick Set measuring device allows assembly of the fixture where numerous diameter, distance and geometric checks can be performed within a short length.
Like the Quick Set for shaft type parts, it can accomodate any measuring device having an 8 mm or 3/8" clamping diameter, such as our Red Crown pencil probes, Quick Read compact electronic display unit, Quick Digit electronic digital indicator.
