QUICK ZERO
TO REDUCE IN-PROCESS GAUGES SET UP
QUICK ZERO is a new Marposs setting device for quick zeroing of in-process measuring heads directly on workpiece or master. It can be applied on your gauge applications to check external diameters, and for internal ones.
QUICK ZERO allows to improve flexibility by reducing the retooling time of the gauge up to ten times, without worsening of metrological performances.
The simplicity makes QUICK ZERO a tool suitable for all operators.
Its design has been conceived to be retrofitted on already working applications.
EXTERNAL DIAMETERS
| Specifications | Field range (60 mm fingers)* |
| fingers in internal position (A) | rotation ±10° | Ø from 5 to 30 mm | 25 mm |
| fingers in external position (B) | rotation ±10° | Ø from 17 to 67 mm | 50 mm |
(*) Other values can be obtained by different fingers on demand
INTERNAL DIAMETERS
| Specifications | Field range (60 mm fingers)* |
| fingers in internal position (A) | rotation ± 8° | Ø from 15 to 32 mm | 17 mm |
| fingers in external position (B) | rotation ±10° | Ø from 24 to 74 mm | 50 mm |
(*) Other values can be obtained by different fingers on demand
WIDE RANGE EXTERNAL DIAMETERS
(long fingers and wide retooling capability)
| Specifications | Field range (90 mm fingers)* |
| distance between heads 1mm | rotation ±10° | Ø from 5 to 75 mm | 70 mm |
| distance between heads 61mm | rotation ±10° | Ø from 65 to 135 mm | 70 mm |
| distance between heads 121mm | rotation ±10° | Ø from 125 to 195 mm | 70 mm |
(*) Other values can be obtained by different fingers on demand
HOW IT WORKS
How
Quick Zero works:
- Push down the lever (blue point) to unlock the friction and to bring mechanically to zero the transducer (red cam on green reference);
- Move the finger to new part size;
- Pull up the lever to free the pretravel (red cam doesn't touch the green reference) and lock the friction of finger movement.
