Research & Development - Padua Center
The CRE (Center of Electronic Research) is located in Padua, via Armistizio 277, in the premises of Villa Giusti. The palace is famous for hosting the signature of the armistice that ended warfare between Italy and Austria-Hungary on 3 November 1918.
By establishing offices in the close outskirts of Padua in 1987, Marposs made a point of acknowledging the quality of the education offered by the technical and scientific faculties of Padua University. Marposs has kept proficuous relations with the local academia ever since and contributes to the lively competence-rich industrial community of Regione Veneto.
The R&D activities of CRE are focused on the design and preliminary test of electronic products both with microprocessor-based architecture and analog-digital mixed architecture. The product destination ranges from the acquisition and processing of industrial sensor-generated signals to the execution of complex control strategies applied to the internal processes of machine tools.
CRE and Marposs headoffice R&D laboratories are registered in the National Register of Research Laboratories by Ministerial Decree.
